Since the coronavirus crisis hit, it has never been more important to wash your hands – or donnies, as they’re known in the Black Country.
But if you need a friendly reminder, creative designer Emily Benton has created a unique print using a popular regional phrase to raise funds for a good cause.
Her ‘wash your donnies’ design comes in two sizes – A4 or A5 – and she’s donating 100 per cent of the profits to The Haven, a Wolverhampton charity that supports women and children who are vulnerable to domestic violence, homelessness and abuse.
“Unfortunately, home might not be a safe place for everyone during lockdown,” the 31-year-old said.
“Sadly many women and children across the country live in abusive households. They have no choice but to isolate in high risk, life threatening conditions.”
