About this training:

Overview: This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of domestic abuse awareness. Participants will learn to identify signs of domestic abuse, understand its various forms, and become familiar with the resources available to support victims. This course is ideal for individuals who seek a foundational understanding of domestic abuse and how to create safe environments for those affected.

• Understand Domestic Abuse and what forms it can take.
• Basic awareness of any new or emerging legislation.
• Recognise the signs, behaviours and indicators of Domestic Abuse.
• Understand the impact of Domestic Abuse on adults and children.
• Understand the barriers victims may face when reporting issues and accessing support.
• Respond to a disclosure of domestic abuse in a trauma informed way.
