Working with Survivors of Domestic Violence
This programme is a level 3 qualification recognised and accredited by the Open College Network West Midlands Region (OCNWMR). Its design is such that individuals are able to claim credits for each unit completed, thus allowing for personal choice, professional necessity and personal circumstances that may prohibit participation in the whole programme.
The programme covers the following units:
- Domestic Violence and Abuse Awareness
- Working with Children and Domestic Violence
- Disability, Mental Health and Domestic Violence
- Domestic Violence Policy in the Workplace
New units continue to be introduced at regullar intervales throughout the year.
Each unit requires one day attendance. In order to gain accreditation from the Open College Network West Midlands Region, learners are required to submit a portfolio of assessment tasks which are completed outside taught learning hours.
Learners can choose not to study this programme without submitting the aditional portfolio in which case a Haven Certificate of Attendance will be awarded. Please note that content of the taught sessions remain the same regardless of whether or not OCNWMR accreditation is chosen.
